El LAPT anuncia la cancelación del festival de poker de Viña del Mar – publicado el 04-03-2010

El Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) de PokerStars.net lamenta tener que anunciar que el festival de poker del LAPT Viña del Mar 2010, Chile se ha cancelado. El festival estaba programado para llevarse a cabo en el Enjoy Viña del Mar Casino and Resort del 19 al 23 de marzo de 2010.

Todos los jugadores que han clasificado o comprado la entrada al evento recibirán un reembolso completo de sus entradas y cualquier gasto realizado de su bolsillo*.

Esta cancelación se debe al devastador terremoto de 8,8 de magnitud que azotó Chile aproximadamente a 175 millas al sur de Viña del Mar el 27 de febrero de 2010. La cancelación del festival se ha visto forzada por los efectos del terremoto y debido a los esfuerzos de rescate y recuperación que ahora mismo se están llevando a cabo en todo Chile.

LAPT ANNOUNCES CANCELLATION OF VIÑA DEL MAR POKER FESTIVAL

The PokerStars.net Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) regrets to announce that the 2010 LAPT Viña del Mar, Chile poker festival has been cancelled. The festival was scheduled to be held at the Enjoy Viña del Mar Casino and Resort from March 19-23, 2010.

All players who have qualified or bought-in to the event will be fully refunded their buy-ins and any out-of-pocket expenses*.

This cancellation follows a devastating 8.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Chile approximately 175 miles south of Viña del Mar on February 27, 2010. The cancellation of the festival has been forced by the effects of the earthquake and in light of the rescue and recovery efforts now taking place throughout Chile.

Everyone at PokerStars.net and the LAPT offers their thoughts and condolences to all of those affected by this tragic natural disaster.

The LAPT sincerely apologizes for this cancellation to the players that had planned to attend the festival.
